How is the standard monthly remuneration determined?

By law, the standard monthly remuneration for a Special-Case Retired Person is determined as follows: In accordance with Association rules up to one-half the sum total of the average standard monthly remuneration of all insured persons (not including Special-Case Retired Persons) in the IBM Japan Health Insurance Association as of September 30 of the previous fiscal year.
