I've been receiving an injury and sickness allowance, but now I'm about to begin receiving a Disability Basic Pension. What will happen to the injury and sickness allowance?

Notify the IBM Japan Health Insurance Association immediately if you learn you will receive a Disability Basic Pension or Disability Allowance. Attach a photocopy of your Disability Employees' Pension (Disability Basic Pension) certificate, documents indicating the most recent payment of your Disability Employees' Pension (Disability Basic Pension), and other documentation.
If the amount of your injury and sickness allowance exceeds the amount of disability benefits, you will be paid the difference.
The same procedures apply if you receive an Old-Age Employees' Pension (Basic Pension).
