Do I still have to pay the standard amount for meals if I don't eat the hospital meals while hospitalized for medical or other reasons or because I return home temporarily?
The standard amount for meals during hospitalization is paid per meal, up to three meals per day. If you do not receive meals on a given day, you do not need to pay the standard amount on that day.
